Hey all!
-I'm tired of not knowing how to start these blogs so I'll be treating them like diary entries- sorry-not-sorry-.
Today's blog entry for another task for the same people of the Running muscle animaiton previously posted.
Speed paint and some frames are posted here ;- Walking Gastrocnemius 2D Animation
This time, the task was considerably simpler: illustrating a single muscle—the Gastrocnemius—from origin to insertion within the context of a 12-frame walking cycle. The aim was to show the animated motion of the muscle with the outline of a leg.
I was provided with all the necessary materials, including 12 frames of skeletal positions and 12 corresponding frames of a walking figure, both from the same angle and perspective. The differences between the frames were minor, involving slight positional shifts.
The process primarily involved adjusting the reference materials using the transform tool to ensure proper alignment, followed by tracing over them to achieve the final result: a cohesive animation of the Gastrocnemius moving in sync with the outlined leg through the walking cycle.
This task took circa 4 hours... which I spent watching 3 episode of The Essex Serpant in the background... tom Hiddlestone is always a pleasure to watch / hear the voice of while woking.
I can't think of anything else I want to say so I'll just end it here.
Todoles ~ and hope you all a good day - (if anyone every reads these x'D )
